Ink
Using ink in an automatic process means it flows rapidly and surprises me. The first layers are the larger shapes that appear fluidly, the second layer is the flickering dip pen which lays down all the tiny ink marks, flitting about all over the page, creating all the movement and energy of the pieces. And as with most of my works I then take a step back to see what my intuition has given me.
