Works on Black Paper

Drawn from the unseen, from the energies that I explore, using automatism I allow the material to lead, allow the space to create the ethereal marks. After I find a whole host of work from cosmological or land maps to other worlds, migratory beings and entities passing through. To create is itself a complete ritual, the mark making becomes a portal, the act transformative. The materials are either watercolour & gouache with brush or dip pen with white ink.
